Acer Aspire E700 – Windows Defender scan results.
Well I’ve had to contend with the likes of the M5640 & E650 but we have yet another Acer to throw into the mix, the Aspire E700. Looks practically near identical to the E650 barring a broken portion that is meant to cover the CD/DVD drive. That’s not the only thing that was out of place on this computer.
This is the first video I have recorded on the Windows-based spyware scanner. Maybe not as high-end as most other 3rd-party scanners but it’s better than absolutely nothing. It did actually manage to find something as highlighted in the results – “RegCure”, which I removed. It ran for 49 minutes and scanned over 900000 objects (also scans archives & registry entries).

Looking for a good virus blocker for my computer?
Someone told me to use adware to get rid of viruses on my computer. I googled adware and get a million different sites to download from. Does adware work and if so how do I know what site to download it from? What other programs are really good for protecting my computer?
I have adaware and it is really good. Has spyware as well.

Try the Lavasoft site to download. There is a free one to download and it is very good.
For virus protection I would get Norton or similar. It is always updated. I know it can cost a bit with renewals every year but I have never had a virus infection. (YET!)
Read any reviews on virus protection. It is essential these days.
